In conjunction with Maya Lin’s Ghost Forest in Madison Square Park, join the Natural Areas Conservancy, VCPA, and Madison Square Park Conservancy for a tree planting event.
Volunteers needed to help VCPA prepare our Garden & Compost Site for the winter.
During the month of November we will focus on removal of non-indigenous plant species within our Floodplain Forest worksite, along the Putnam Greenway.
Volunteers will be strapping on waders and hopping into Tibbetts brook or walking along the shoreline removing trash.

VCPA and volunteers will be working on maintenance of the XC trail and other nature trails in the northern end of the park.
During the month of January and February, forest maintenance will entail removal of non-indigenous vine species and shrubs from the Vault Hill section of the Park.
