You might: Remove Invasive Species: Tackle harmful plants like multiflora rose, bush honeysuckle, bittersweet, and Japanese angelica tree that threaten our native biodiversity. Maintain Trails: Keep paths clear, safe, and welcoming for all park visitors. No experience needed! We provide all tools and gloves. When: Fridays November 14 and 21 meeting at 9am and Fridays December 5, 12 and 19 meeting at 10am Where: Van Cortlandt Park - VCPA Learning Garden (across from the Riverdale Stables) What to bring: Long pants, closed-toe shoes, water No experience needed - we provide tools, gloves, and teach forest ecology as we work.
