This opportunity focuses on hands-on invasive species removal, with tasks varying seasonally to ensure the health and recovery of this important area within the park. Join Van Cortlandt Park Alliance for an enriching hike and forest exploration experience in the Northwest Woods. Led by Trail Stewardship Coordinator Leslie Garcia, this leisurely walk covers 2-3 miles and offers a fresh look at both native and invasive tree species in our Northwest forest. Canine Court needs some TLC! Help keep this doggie happy by volunteering to clean up Canine Court! NYC Parks staff does not perform daily maintenance inside dog runs.
