Invasive Species Project

The Van Cortlandt Park Alliance’s Invasive Species Project: Video & Field Lab is a multi-session lab consisting of in-class videos and a field study of key invasive species within Van Cortlandt Park.

VCPA’s Invasive Species Project: Teens Teaching Teens Video Series:
Video 1: Introduction and English Ivy (Hedera helix)
Video 2: Common Periwinkle (Vinca minor)
Video 3: Multiflora Rose (Rosa multiflora)
Video 4: Siebold viburnum (Viburnum sieboldii)

Van Cortlandt Park Alliance’s Invasive Species Project was contracted by the Lower Hudson Partnership for Regional Invasive Species Management using funds from the Environmental Protection Fund as administered by the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation. Additional funding for this project was provided by the Dorr Foundation.
