Wetland Wednesdays

It’s time to tackle the water chestnut that takes over Hester & Piero’s Mill Pond every summer. We’ll provide waders, gloves, and all the tools you’ll need to hop in the water with us and help remove this pesky plant.
Volunteer Policy for Minors
- Ages 15 – 17
A parent or guardian must sign and submit a volunteer waiver. Once the waiver is on file, the minor may participate without an accompanying adult.
- Ages 12 – 14
A parent or guardian must accompany the minor and remain on-site for the entire project.
- Under 12
Children may volunteer only at events specifically labeled family-friendly and must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times.
