Trail Maintenance Training

The Natural Areas Conservancy and Van Cortlandt Park Alliance are teaming up to restore two acres of forest in the Northeast Forest of Van Cortlandt Park this year.

Learn the basics of trail navigation & maintenance during this walk. We will discuss and assess conditions in Van Cortlandt’s Northeast Forest, as well as engage in hands-on trail maintenance efforts.
