Natural History Hike

Natural History Hike

October 17 @ 10:00 am - 1:00 pm EDT

Take a hike with VCPA’s Field Scientist and Research Coordinator to answer the question: “How do animals and plants prepare for the Winter?”

As the temperature begins to drop and the temperate northeast leaves summer behind, animals and plants must adjust and prepare for the oncoming winter.

During this hike we will discuss and observe the different strategies used by plants and animals to survive the changing of the seasons.

Meet in front of the Woodlawn Playground.

Pre-registration is required and space is limited so RSVP now!
