Forest Restoration Fridays

Assist in maintenance of the Northeast forest in Van Cortlandt Park. We will be removing non-indigenous plant species such as angelica tree (Aralia elata) and bittersweet (Celastrus orbiculatus) and promoting the growth of the indigenous oak-hickory forest community. Wear close toed shoes and long pants and bring along water. We will provide gloves and tools.
