Forest Fridays

Remove invasive species from the Northwest Forest. Promote biodiversity, protect young trees, and maintain trails.
When: Fridays November 14 and 21 meeting at 9am and Fridays December 5, 12 and 19 meeting at 10am
Where: Van Cortlandt Park – VCPA Learning Garden (across from the Riverdale Stables)
What to bring: Long pants, closed-toe shoes, water
No experience needed – we provide tools, gloves, and teach forest ecology as we work.
Ages 15+ welcome.
Minors must have parents sign a volunteer waiver.
