Join us every Friday in September in Van Cortlandt Park in the Bronx to volunteer and help restore the floodplain forest and Tibbetts Wetland.
Meeting Details:
Location: VCPA Lakehouse Office
Time: 9 am sharp; we head to the site by 9:10 am
Activities Include:
– Monitoring earlier restoration efforts
– Removing invasive species
– Contributing to local ecosystems
What to Bring:
– Sunscreen, long pants, bug spray
– Closed-toed shoes
– Water and a snack
