    Floodplain Forest Fridays at Van Cortlandt Park Join us along Turtle Creek, the stream feeding the mill pond from the northwest, to plant native trees from NYC Parks in the floodplain and cut back invasive phragmites by hand. Your work helps the floodplain forest take back ground from the reeds.
