Floodplain Forest Fridays

The 10/20 event has been canceled due to the rainy weather.

Join us every Friday in September and October in Van Cortlandt Park in the Bronx to volunteer and help restore the floodplain forest and Tibbetts Wetland.

Meeting Details:
Location: VCPA Lakehouse Office
Time: 9 am sharp; we head to the site by 9:10 am

Activities Include:
– Monitoring earlier restoration efforts
– Removing invasive species
– Contributing to local ecosystems

What to Bring:
– Sunscreen, long pants, bug spray
– Closed-toed shoes
– Water and a snack
