Forest Friday

With 640 acres of forest and wetlands, Van Cortlandt Park could use your help!
For November’s only Forest Friday, we are focusing on planting trees in canopy gaps in the Northwest forest. Make sure to wear long pants, sturdy closed-toe shoes, and bring lots of water! All other tools will be provided. No prior experience needed.
Meet us at the VCPA Compost and Garden site (right across from the Riverdale Stables) and we will walk to our worksite in the park together.
