Van Cortlandt Park Dog Runs Need Volunteers!

  • NYC Parks staff does not perform daily maintenance inside dog runs.
  • Volunteers are needed to keep the area clean and tidy.
  • Tasks include: weeding, painting, sweeping, mowing.

There are 3 dog runs in Van Cortlandt Park:

  • Canine Court: Broadway & 252nd Street
  • Dog Bone Run: Gun Hill Road & Gates Place 
  • Oneida Run: Van Cortlandt Park East & Oneida Avenue

Rules of the Run

  • No smoking
  • 3 dogs per person maximum
  • Clean up after your dog
  • No personal furniture. Items left in the dog run may be discarded without notice.
