Dancing on the Lawn

Get up and dance on the lawn of Van Cortlandt House Museum or bring a blanket, sit, and enjoy the music.

Free Bomba dance instruction and live interactive music and dance performance by Juan Usera and the Sambuco Tribe performing Bomba and other Caribbean music. Bomba is an Afro-Puerto Rican musical genre with its origins in West Africa, Puerto Rico, and the Caribbean.

This cultural enrichment event is free, fun, and for the whole family. All ages are welcome!
