SUMMARY:CANCELLED Welcoming Winter: A Family Nature Walk
DESCRIPTION:Due to the very cold real feel temperatures and high winds forecasted for Saturday we have cancelled this event. \nIn this free guided hike\, families can hit the trails while learning about amazing local plants and animals\, and how the park changes in the colder weather. \nAfterwards\, join us for a nature craft and themed activities! \nMeet at VCPA’s Garden and Compost Site – enter the park at Broadway and Mosholu Avenue. \n\nWe’ll be outside the whole time; dress appropriately for the weather\nAll children must be accompanied by an adult\nRecommended for ages 3+\nParticipants must be able to travel on unpaved\, uneven trails for up to a mile\nStrollers/bikes/scooters can be left at our garden space during the duration of our hike\nFriendly and well-behaved pets on leashes are welcome!\n\n
