Your work helps the floodplain forest take back ground from the reeds. \nRSVP Now \nWhen: Fridays\, 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM: Nov 13\, Nov 20\, Dec 4\, Dec 11\, Dec 18 \nWhere: Meet outside the VCPA offices at the Golf House\, next to the bathrooms. We leave for the worksite by 9:15 AM. \nWhat to bring: Long sleeves\, long pants\, boots that can get muddy\, warm layers\, water bottle. \nTools and gloves provided. Join us for Woodlawn Wednesdays\, where volunteers like you play a vital role in preserving this important urban ecosystem. \nRSVP Now \nYou might: \nRemove Invasive Species: Tackle harmful plants like multiflora rose\, bush honeysuckle\, bittersweet\, and Japanese angelica tree that threaten our native biodiversity. \nMaintain Trails: Keep paths clear\, safe\, and welcoming for all park visitors. \nPlant for Pollinators: On November 4\, join an afternoon session (1–4 PM) planting goldenrods and bulbs at the Woodlawn pollinator garden. Meet at the garden. \nNo experience needed! We provide all tools and gloves.
