$25 Registration Fee includes a “VCP Where NYC Hikes” t-shirt and an expertly guided hike of our beautiful park.
Register by Wednesday April 22nd, 2015.
or Download Hike-a-Thon Registration Form and Mail It In.
The first 100 participants to register and raise $100 or more ($50 if under 18) in pledges will receive a goody bag.

Last year, over 90 people came out for the Friends’ 5th Annual Hike-a-Thon and raised over $9,000 for the restoration of the hiking trails this year. Thank you to everyone who participated and/or helped to support the event.
With last year’s donations our Volunteer Trails Crew made improvements on many trails including:
– Repaired drainage ditches along the Old Croton Aqueduct
– Installed waterbars on the Cross Country Course
– Installed check dams on the John Muir Trail
– Closed unofficial trails, aka desire lines, in the park
