First Annual Craft Festival Weekend a Success

On October 20th and 21st, the Friends of Van Cortlandt Park and the Van Cortlandt House Museum hosted a Craft Festival Weekend.  The festival was a great success with several vendors selling their handmade goods ranging from jewelry to quilts to scroll saws ornaments.  We also provided EcoCrafts for children, hot refreshments and snacks and a raffle drawing with lots of wonderful prizes.  We would like thank our supporters who donated prizes:  JetBlue Airways, the Riverdale Garden, Stop and Shop and National Society of Colonial Dames and the State of New York.  We would also like to thank our vendors that donated prizes:
